Cutter Unit – Full Inox Cutter (Type 3)

• Specially developed for Vigil® (patented technology -EU Patent N° EP1512626A2 )
• The cutter severs the reserve loop by a pyrotechnical cutting action with a circular knife
• It will eventually melt the loop to ensure its separation due to high internal temperature
• The cutter is completely confined to avoid any possible damage to the parachute
• Cuts the loop in less than 2 milliseconds
• Strong and flexible connecting wire (kevlar reinforced)
• No interconnections (same wire from connector to detonator)
• Wire-cutter connection resists up to 50 kg traction
• Easy cutter replacement
